Flowers & Gems ~ Vibrational Medicine

Yesterday we held our Flower Essences and Gem Elixir class at the Botanical Sanctuary. Getting together with the other Master Herbalist students is something we all look forward to and it was especially fun with perfect weather and the flowers we found were absolutely beautiful!

We chose the Pink Yarrow (Achillea millefolium rubra). This flower essence is used for boundary issues, being able to stay separate and not affected by others' energy.

Pink Yarrow petals floating in water in the sunshineJudy discussed how to carefully harvest these tiny little flowers as she plucked each tiny petal off the mother plant and dropped them one by one into the water. "It's important not to touch the flowers with your fingers or even to sniff them", Judy stated, "we don't want to change their energy."

These essences will then 'charge' in the sun for at least 2 hours. It's amazing how much you actually get once you start making dosage bottles. A little goes a long way!

After lunch I touched on using flower essences and gem elixirs for pets, chakras systems in animals, and how various colored stones can stimulate or balance the chakras.

Quartz CrystalStudents were intuitively drawn to certain stones for their elixirs and later upon reading about the stone, realized it was the very one they needed at the time!

We had a fun day learning and creating these incredible vibrational essences. All of us came away with a better understanding of what vibrational medicine is and how important this work is presently and for the future!

In my experience, I learn more by teaching! Curious.

Below is a short video of some of the flower essence discussion. Hope you enjoy!
