Growing up along the Mississippi River was always an adventure; hiking in the woods, climbing the bluffs and trees, exploring the caves and river. Most of the time I'd be on horseback. Those were the best times.
I was always collecting rocks, flowers, and unique products of nature. Years of moving and traveling eventually brought me back to my hometown area on the Mississippi river.
Once I bought my little ranch here in Wisconsin, (long story short, bought the land and moved the house), I fulfilled a dream by growing my own gardens and harvesting wild plants found in my woods. It's been 12 years now and feel it's appropriate to share this information with folks in my area or online through articles & videos.
Medicine Woods HerbalsI am a Master Herbalist and specialize in medicinal herbs used in soap making as well as other herbal products. I also grow culinary herbs as well as a variety of veggies & fruits.
I'll continue teaching soap making, kitchen cosmetics, flower essences, pets, and various classes using herbs and/or crystals and gemstones.
This year I am opening the new shop at Medicine Woods Herbals. It's located here on the ranch and will be a very practical addition. I will keep you updated about the Grand Opening hopefully sometime in April of 2012!!
